Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç

Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç, born in 1965, is a distinguished scholar in tourism and hospitality management with a strong academic and institutional background. He earned his B.Sc. in Business Administration from Dokuz Eylül University, an M.Sc. in Business Administration from Eastern Mediterranean University, and a Ph.D. in Tourism Management from Dokuz Eylül University. He has advanced through all academic ranks at Eastern Mediterranean University, where he has served as Professor since 2014 and held the position of Dean of the Faculty of Tourism for three consecutive terms. His scholarly contributions span sustainable tourism, gastronomy, service innovation, human resources in hospitality, and tourism competitiveness, with numerous publications in high-impact international journals and book chapters with leading publishers. In addition to his research, Prof. Kılıç has supervised a wide range of master’s and doctoral theses, fostering new generations of researchers and practitioners. He has also played a central role in institutional development through the establishment and accreditation of innovative academic programs at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Recognized for his leadership in international collaborations, conference participation, and professional association memberships, Prof. Kılıç has significantly contributed to shaping the theoretical foundations and practical applications of tourism and hospitality studies on a global scale
