BIOGRAPHY
Rico Maggi, Ph.D., is Professor emeritus of the Faculty of Economics at USI Università della Svizzera italiana in Lugano, Switzerland, where he has been dean of the Faculty of Economics and director of the Institute for Economic Research (IRE). His research regards transport economics, urban and regional development, and tourism with a focus on behavioral modelling. Currently, he is leading a project on tourism and quality of life at the Academy of Tourism of Fondazione Campus in Lucca, Italy.
