Cihan Yılmaz

Cihan Yılmaz received his PhD in Tourism Management from Aydın Adnan Menderes University in 2021. He previously completed his Master’s degree in Tourism Management at the same university in 2017 and earned his undergraduate degree in Tourism and Hotel Management from Gaziosmanpaşa University in 2015. In addition, he completed a second undergraduate degree in Political Science and International Relations at Istanbul University in 2024.  Dr. Yılmaz began his academic career at Aydın Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Tourism and has been serving at Doğuş University Vocational School since 2022. He was appointed as an Assistant Professor in 2023 and currently serves as the Head of the Tourism and Hotel Management Program as well as a member of the Vocational School Executive Board.  His research focuses on tourism management, hospitality management, consumer behavior in tourism, service quality, organizational behavior in hospitality enterprises, and digital transformation in tourism, including artificial intelligence and emerging tourism technologies. Dr. Yılmaz has published numerous articles in international peer-reviewed journals such as British Food Journal, International Journal of Tourism Cities, Sustainability, and Discover Artificial Intelligence. He has also contributed several book chapters on tourism marketing, leadership, destination branding, and hospitality technologies.
