BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Sameer Hosany is Professor of Marketing and Head of Department at Royal Holloway Business School. Royal Holloway, University of London. His research interests lie at the intersection of psychology, marketing and tourism. Professor Hosany has published widely in leading international journals, received multiple awards, was recognised as a Highly Cited Research by Clarivate and is ranked among the world’s top 2% most influential scientists. Professor Hosany has co-edited special issues covering topics such digital platforms, emerging technologies, tourist emotions, customer engagement, and scale development. He was previously an Associate Editor for the Journal of Business Research.

Professor Levent Altinay will share his experience of   successful funding applications to the prestigious funding bodies including EU, Horizon, ESRC (Economic Social Research Council), Newton, British Academy, British Council and TUBITAK. During the workshop, Altinay will cover a wide range of topics including creative idea generation for research funding, formation of multidisciplinary research consortiums, use of networks, research design, dissemination of research findings and the generation of academically robust, practically meaningful research impact.
