BIOGRAPHY

Mina Milani is a Research Assistant and Doctoral Candidate in Tourism Management at Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), North Cyprus. She holds a master’s degree in business management from Sapienza University of Rome, where her thesis examined innovation types in internal corporate entrepreneurship within the digital era, and a bachelor’s degree in business management from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran.

Her research focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence and tourism, with particular emphasis on AI service failures, employee technostress, customer satisfaction, and organizational outcomes. Mina has contributed to international scholarship through several conference papers and book chapters, including works on corporate social irresponsibility in hotels, sustainability and spirituality, and ethical AI. At MTCON 2024, she presented an article, exploring how ethically designed AI systems in hospitality can strengthen customer trust and long-term brand commitment.

In her teaching role at EMU, Mina assists with courses in cost analysis, accounting for tourism, and sustainability in tourism and foodservice. Beyond academia, she has held roles as a business planner, sales and export manager, and international marketing expert in industries spanning oil and gas energy (PEPCO), trade, and sustainable development. She also brings extensive experience as a freelance English teacher.

Mina’s multidisciplinary background, spanning business management, teaching, and industry practice, informs her research and underscores her commitment to bridging theory and practice in tourism and hospitality management.
