Dr. Theo Mojtaba Ammari

Dr Theo Mojtaba Ammari is a Senior Lecturer in Academic Development (Leading on Assessment) at the University of Sunderland in London.His focus is on innovative methods of assessment, teaching and learning in higher education, which are considered to be vital in teaching in the 21st-century education and AI era.Dr Ammari has more than 25 years of international experience in senior management and lecturing in higher education. He has also worked on several strategic consultancy curriculum development projects inside and outside the UK.His particular interests are Innovative and authentic curricula in higher education, Education for Sustainable Development, the future curriculum model in the HE sector and Generative AI.Dr Ammari has a BSc, an MSc in Pure Mathematics, and a PhD in Mathematics Education from Warwick University and is a Senior Fellow of the Advance HE (SFHEA).
